Golf....golf....did i say golf.....

So...finally...wednesday kim arrived in jhb....very early...6:30.... So yes....while driving to the airport the sun only starter to rise...damn....so...yes...early....managed to find parking....never a problem where...just have to remember when going back...he was out really quick so all good....driving home...real embarrassment.....i knew i must go direction N3 home....hmmm....but somehow i went N3 SOUTH not N3 NORTH.....shit...then....took the next off ramp....next problem....normally on ramp and off ramp are opposite each other...well...not in this case....long story short...kim had to take out his gps...so that i could find on ramp....oh well...we still managed to be home around 8.... Halleluia.....some breakfast....freshening up...and yes...time for the first round of golf......

Not sure what the hell was plotting.....first hole (we started on the second nine), so number 10 amazing drive...and i must admit i was amazed with my game...really could not complain...second nine...hmmm...but still not bad...well ended on 24 points....NEVER done that before......hmmmmmm.....long story short....cause anyone that doesnt know the golf course is not gonna wanna knw details.....kim won the round....29..... Hmmm....maybe next time its my turn.....

Of course dinner was a braai....fillet...salad...ciabatta (yes noT traditional), lamb chops and carprese (couldnt resist)..... Hell of a nice....and i can say it.....dessert carrot cake...was a Bit crumbly but good in taste...then again....as it gets older it actally gets better...so maybe tomorrow it will improve...will keep u posted.....now i am off to bed...im smashed.....goodnite....

So....another golf round....start time 7:10.....hmmmmm.....So....back again.....and wow....first 9 holes 16 points....i dont think i ever had that....good on me....hahaha....2 ahead at half time....but we all know about my second 9..... Welll....yes...only 9 points.....so ended on 25.... But least shots ever for me...yay....and kim and i had a tie....so felt good......he had a bad round....which is frustrating cause i had a good one....and points....yes....the same.....

So.... So after golf....off to queen street....i didnt wanna drive on the highway....so we went over Sophia's Pass....man....some huge houses....never knew...strange....one side Louis Botha and the other side Kensington and in the middle....villas....hmmmmm.....Queen Street.....strange....some dodgy characters....didnt stay very long......nicer idea to go for some coffee and lunch....and yes....it better we good coffee so back to home area....and yes....i debated wheRe to go....but good food and cappuccino.....Woolies at Nicole Way......cappuccino....excellento....and the Classic Salad also.....roasted, shredded chicken, leaves, avo, beans, cucumber, croutons and herby dressing....not so sure on the dressing...but loved the presentation....here is a pic...

I would def go back.....So.....thats it for today...cheers...Have a good weekend.....

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
