My venture

So yes.....we did not only play the 19th hole...what else is there....there is an 18 hole golf course as well as a 9 hole par 3 golf course...for the 18 hole golf course, each hole is designed by a different golfer, golfers from around the world....while for the 9 hole par 3, it is famous par 3's from all over the world....so quite a cool idea for both. We played the 18 hole golf course twice and did not have time to play the 9 hole par 3 golf course, well there was time...but after 18 holes i rather relax a little as opposed to play another 9 holes.... The golf course is quite difficult but beautiful...i really enjoyed it....first round was a shocker, but what can i expect after not playing for so long while the second round turned out to be fun cause i actually had a good game of golf....and yes...i can share some pics... Legends Golf Resort is situated about 3hrs from Jhb....it is famous for the 19th hole....which is the longest par 3 in the world.....you have to go up onto a cliff with a helicopter and from up there you tee-off....so yes....for kim's birthday weekend that is where we were going...leave on friday morning and return by sunday evening...kim and i decided to go with the bike (my parents would take our golf clubs)....we left earlish cause we wanted to take the scenic route...first stop was the Harley shop on Zambezi road in Pretoria....we just wanted to drop some flyers for our new Harley rental business.....after that kim asked for some advise on which roads to travel and off we went.....oh my word....im not gonna go there...the way these people from the Harely shop told us to drive was shocking...bad roads....roadworks...and so slow....we drove until Cullinan and then decided to turn back.....re-routing a few times until we were back on the N4....anyway we did some uneccessary sight

Yes....some more spots we tried during vacation....and yes...they do deserve to be mentioned....i love Tashas...the first one i ever tried was the one at Atholl square...i was introduced by a friend and fell in love with it...although the menu is very wide...they manage to make it all well...im not a person that loves going out for breakfast because many places are just so cliche in what they serve...however...tashas i love for breakfast....you can go there...and you will DEFINITELY find something whether it be an omlette, traditional breakfast, french toast, oats, muesli in a glass, paw paw with greek yoghurt and nuts......you will find it....today...eggs were what i felt like....the debate was between the poached eggs with black mushrooms on ciabatta or the poached eggs with asparagus spears and hollondaise sauce on health bread.....the second it was....i love it...soft poached so that the yellow just oozes out when you squeeze it...dip the bread in it...amazing...and yes...my order

So...what is happening...why am i not blogging like i used to....damn...i actually miss it....but i think i must give myself a push and do some blogging again...just been super busy...starting new ventures back at home, in South Africa that is....being on the ship, which is currently under-manned which means 10hrs a day....and then when i have some time off....kim and i try to go outside or have a nice lunch/ dinner onboard the ship...and yes...i have also changed ships....but one step at a time.... So, although i love to eat at home when im not on the ship...this time it was crucial that we try some new restaurants...my friend Katja invited me to try this new place called Mon Petit Throbb out in Fourways...a bistro restaurant....and when i looked at the menu i thought i was in heaven...the starters were actually something that i would put together, if the restaurant does not have a strict definition of the tYpe of cuisine they cook....so what was there.....carpaccio, springrolls, c
