My venture

You know....i must say...i feel prouf of muself to somehow be on track again with my blog....but it is just very difficult if there is a lot of other things going on...but anyway...now i have time and i want to write about Kusudasi....i was not super excited for this port....yes, i was looking forward to a new port but Turkey is not my favourite country...for me...the food is not wow...and people are not so wow....i also do not like the bazaars everywher....i mean in Italy i can have good food...and i can have a good cappuccino when i want and an Aperol Spritz....or some other aperitifo....sometimes or often in Turkey they do not even understand the word cappuccino....anyway...so yes...i was looking forward to a new port but i was npt super excited...kim said he would join us for a dinner...so my gran and i decided to check the internet a little before arrival at 13:00....check what there was to do other than the bazaar.....and suddenly we stumbled upon these pics of a beautiful moun

So...the past two days we have vistited Turkey....first Istanbul for a whole day and then Kusudasi....as you might be aware...Istanbul I have been to before..but somehow I never made it to the Hagia Sophia...the red mosque...and because both mom and Mutti had never been to Istanbul...they were keen to join me in visiting the red mosque...so as soon as we arrived...off we went...grabbed a taxi which took us straight to Hagia Sophia....and damn...there was a line...not too bad...but we were a little under time pressure cause we wanted to meet kim for lunch and mom had to go to the airport at 14:30....so...what did we decide....there was some guide who offered to take us inside....he would allow us to skip the line and explain some stuff...and i must say his fee....very reasonable...so we thought..hmmm...that sounds like a plan...at least no line...and some background info...why the hell not....before going inside the red mosque he explained that the first Hagia Sofia was in fact burnt

Capri...island of love...and yes....it is beautiful...but like i said...i am very bias when we talk about Italy...so we arrived in the port of Naples and then we made our way to the ferry port...and we were very lucky cause we had a local with us who purchased tickets for us...and guess what...she managed to get us the local rates cause kim is the captain of the ship....how amazing....the ferry ride was about an hour....across the bay of naples to marina grande....as we arrived i felt like a sardine...squashed and people just wanted to get off the ferry..what the hell...no need to push...everyone will get off.....then everyone rushed to the motoscafisti the official company for doing island tours of capri.....but then kim was very clever...he found a private guide who offered us a private boat tour around the island in his boat.....just the 4 of us....so much better and the guide...was from capri...so yes...he had a lot of info and knowledge....the guide fetched the boat and off we w
