Venice and sea day......

So....another day.....another day where a friend leaves.....at least im also leaving the ship in 1 week....now its time....Kim had an airport transfer at 10:30.... I started work at 12.... So i was able to say good bye....at least something.......never nice to say good bye though.....so at 12 i started work.....long shift...until 6pm....Then the second shift would be 9 until 1am....help.......but before i start herre are some pics from this morning.....Venice.....

 

so first shift past......i guess they always do.....but the question is always fast or slow.......well it was fast....many questions from all the new passengers......then it was dinner time.....Blanca (a new intern) and i were off together....so we went up to Garden Cafe......if it s not busy....we can eat there on embarkation day...lunch is always a problem cause it is very busy.....well....dinner was empty......so Garen Cafe it was.....we chatted a little....she seems like a nice girl...only here for 2 months...doing her internship......late shift was booooring.....so deaD.......i was so happy when the supervisor was off at 12:30 and she told all the people that finished a 1am we were also allowed to go because it was so dead......yay....bed time....not quite...is my last week.....so need to make the most of it......Michele, Lucy, Mark and i all finsished so late so we went to Bali Hai...bar outside deck 13 (fresh air).... I had one drink and then i was dead tired...i had gotten up early 6.... Just to see sunrise in Venice for once......here is a pic from Bali Hai


Sea day.....man i almost died at my first shift....i was tired...and it does not help when there are no guests...but really no guests...i actually started doing my side duty...prepping luggagetags for disembarkation...even though it was only first day of the cruise....wow......that means dead.....in between my shifts i managed to get agym session in.....then started again at 16:30 until 22:00..... And like i said....lets go out this week.....so time to change and go to crew bar.....we stayed there having drinks..chatting and when Alessio was off a 12:30 he brought us pepperoni pizza.....so good.......yum yum.....we had to order a second one cause everyone was starving.......after crew bar.....time for some dancing....so off to Spinnaker for a little bit.....they played very nice music.....sometimes itsgood sometimes its a shocker......after that......off again to crew bar and at 3am i decided to call it quits.....3.5 hrs sleep.....next day Corfu......start 7..... So what...its my last week....and least time is flying........he is a pic from Spinnaker......
So.......today we are in Corfu, just busy at a coffee shop writing this blog.....Corfu i will not write about in this blog though.....so cheers for now....chat very soon.....im so proud of me for being so up to date with the blog for once.....haha.......

Wedding time.....my baby sister's wedding

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
