Random day....

Morning started off with hairdresser appointment.....i have found a brillianT hairdresser, def not on the cheap side, but def worth it.....so last time he did amazing highlights for me....lets see what was in store this morning. When i got there he decided today he was going to do a treatment and a full colour....he said before i go overseas again he will do highlights, but during the time im on vacation, he wants to do something different......so i trust him.....i didnt even ask what colour he would do....but im happy with the results...pic to follow....why i say pic to follow cause the pic is with coffee....so i first have to tell u about that.....

Hairdresser is near Parkhurst...so where better to go for coffee than a stroll on 4th...and somEwhere on the pavement find a nice coffee place and sit and enjoy some cappuccino......a def yes please......my mom and i strolled through the street looking for a nice place and of course looking at the antique stores until we started to smell this smell of freshly grinded coffee beans....hmmmmmm.....

So.....no question, this would be the place where we would have a seat and have, hopefully, a good cappuccino...my expectations were quite high.....because one, the smell and two, as i sat down...insaw the coffee roasting machine....they put in white beans and it spits out brown coffee beans....so yes....expecations....
Of course you know my order...macchiato or cappuccino....and cappuccino it was....and it did not disappoint.....foam was thick....coffee strong....vibe excellent....really enjoyed the sitting outside on the pavement....relaxing...looking at some wierd creatures, after all it is quite an arty area.....a good morning/lunch coffee....and here is a pic......yes..not quite of just my hair or just the Cappuccino, but a combination......

Rest of the afternoon....consisted of making a carrot cake....my carrot cake is the traditional "Aargauer Ruebli chueche"......lots of nuts and carrots....NO flour....it is amazing.....so that is what kept me busy.... Jst fab....and guess what it tasted amazing.....here is a pic.....

Ending of my day..... A friend invited me to try out a new restaurant in a new shopping centre. The original restaurant is called Thomas Maxwell and now he opened a second one.....Red Rabbit....so i was invited to try....before i go into the food.....man we had an awesome night..lots of catching up, gossiping and planning things to do over the period that i will be home.....what a cool evening.....the food...fab....will def go back....of course we celebrated....so yes, a bottle of bubbly was in order, Villiera, yummy....starters was chive soup and for me salmon tartar.......mains, she had salmon with a balsamic risotto (risotto was slighly sweet, but she said the combination of the salmon and sweetish risotto, worked wonders), i had (and the people that know me will say....i knew it), mussles with the chilli tomato sauce....amazing...cause the tomato sauce is so good...and u get a bowl of chips...which i ate all....and half of my friends....they are so crispy and the bowl just cannot go back empty.....here are some pics....

So....a random day....a random blog....but a good day and u can decide on the blog.....goodnite.....
