Cappuccino......Koper, Corfu and Mykonos

So....let me combine a few cappuccino experiences.....first up...Koper, Slovenia. I have been there before and it is a small walking town. The great thing is that the ship docks right by the old town so literally a 5min walk...we had some lunch on the ship...so it was cappuccino and dessert time outside. I remembered this little chocolate cafe place so that is where we headed first....let me share a pic of the walking street as well as the cafe outside...

Chocolate cafe

Of course, we cannot go to a chocolate cafe without having chocolate and coffee....me, my cappuccino, kim his macchiato.....i chose a walnut praline and kim chose a pistaccio praline...they were ok, not great, cause they were melting and thus the temperature of the chocolate was not great and hence the taste was not what it was supposed to be. The cappuccino was ok, a little bit weak and also not enough foam...in other words...i sadly would have to say, we would not run back to this place....let me share a pic....

Cappuccino and praline

After that we thought we still needed a decent dessert, so we stopped at this place where the gelato just looked absoloutely amazing....and guess what...they were way too many flavours to choose from but we finally narrowed it down to mascarapone and fig and apple pie....oh my word....so damn delicious....wow...that was so worth it...and yes, we would definitely go back....time to share a pic...

Ice-cream

Now before i talk about the next cappuccino...let me share some pics of the sunset that night...it was just incredible.....

Next up....good old Corfu...this time...i forgot to take a pic of the cappuccino...but it was at my usual spot called Grec cafe, that was the place that we also went on the first cruise with mom, Mutti, dad and Lisa. It is just great because the foam is thick, the cappuccino strong...and on top...you get a cookie which is filled with soft chocolate...like a nutella consistency...yummie....it is right in the middle of the old town, so great location. After that, Sofia and i also stopped at a pasticceria to buy these local goodies....peanuts covered in Sesame seeds, caramalized almonds and chocolate covered walnut cake and chocolate covered baklava....all sooooooo yummie...wow....

On the way back...some photos of Sofia by the old fortress.

Sofia and i also enjoyed a few hours together in Mykonos....and pf course not without a cappuccino...at my usual place...at the back...away from the crowds...a place that makes mainly crepes but also has a few traditional savoury foods. The cappuccino is just amazing, thick foam, strong, just how i like it...yes, the chocolate sprinkles are missing, but the foam is so thick and plenty of it, that i can forgive them....hahaha....let me share a pic...

Sofia and i strolled the little side streets of Mykonos and just enjoyed the views....of course taking some pictures, also of Sofia, she needs to have a memory from all the places she has been to....so let me share some pics of the beautiful Mykonos. As i said before, Mykonos for me, just such a beautiful island, the cobblestones on the floor, the houses, the narrow streets, just everything...the only thing i do not like there...there is always A LOT of wind...and it really sucks cause it almost blows you away....no joke....but anyway.
