Not sure whether you are aware of the fact that i have a weakness for choc....specifically Swiss choc....and I LOVE LINDT BALLS....and in every country i go...or every place...i check if there are flavours i do not know...i have managed to finally do a summary of the ones I have found so far...of course i might be updating this blog again if i find new ones...but so far..this will be good enough.....which one is the best....that is very difficult for me...but i can tell you which one is the worst....the mint one...but then again...i really do not like mint with choc at all...hence i guess i am bias....so now...of i go and you get to enjoy looking at all this yummie choc....

    How much time and patience that took!
    We too are Lindt devotees, and every time we go to a new city and re-visit an old one, we visited the Lindt boutique several times.
    Even just to browse.
    We were thrilled on a visit to Dusseldorf Old Town to be invited by the salesgirl for 2 steaming cups of hot chocolate on a cold November night.
    We had bought a lot of chocolate and she was so sweet.
    We looooved the hot chocolate.
    Its expensive and we would probably not have ordered it on our own!

Wedding time.....my baby sister's wedding

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Nero Paella Lechon So....the make up artist was fabulous.....he did an amazing job, he also did the hair for the three of us...the other brides maides' make up and hair was done by his entourage.....here a pic of us getting ready for the big event.... Melt....truffles.....

Yummy....verdict on all 6 chocs that we have tried so far... and yes, i will recap quickly on the Walnut Bon Bon.....so inside walnut filling...with actual chunks of walnuts...yes....we all know i have a soft spot for walnuts...i mean i used to take them (on the ship) from the dinner area to my room in large quantities, so that i would always have walnuts in reserve....love them...great snack...anyway...back to the point....Walnut Bon Bon...great...would buy it again....here is a pic.... Number 2.... Red Velvet truffle.....I think it looks prettier than the Walnut Bon Bon...but taste...hmmmm...i was not so keen...then againim also not a Red Velvet cake person, I was gonna buy the Carrot Cake but lady dropped the last ones....so this one...i would not buy again...but it was not bad.... Number 3....smooth black....WOW....hands down my favourite...smooth (yes, the name says that), but it really was....and deep taste, really choclaty...but not too rich....amazing...wow....no words.....

First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind. We started off by driving past our new home (could not go inside as the current owners were packing up) and then we made our way to McKinney where we have a friend who has been so kind to receive and store all of our p...
