Encore Greek Isalnds, as promised....i will write another blog about the Greek Islands....so...as you might know...next up is Mykonos....we tendered so off i went by myself for a stroll and i would meet kim later for some food and of course....cappuccino.....i love Mykonos....i just think it is so pretty....just to walk through and enjoy the views...shop wise, there is not too much...souvenir shops etc....but let me share some random pics of the island....
Settled on a stretch of cobbles jutting out into the port, this small antique building with a dazzlingly blue dome is one of the most picturesque churches in town. Note the quaint interior: the black and white tiled floor, the ceiling painted like a starry night and the ornate golden chandeliers.
Chora's most famous church takes its name from its location, right next to the castle's side entrance in the Kastro neighbourhood. Its architectural quirkiness and deep history has made it one of the most photographed churches in Mykonos.
As you can see beautiful scenery.....We had something small to eat at Paradise Sunset....this is a restaurant in Little Venice of Mykonos...overlooking the windmills as well as little Venice...very beautiful setting...we had some Greek salad and some melted cheese....it was ok...not over the moon wow...i think what made it, definitely the view...(no pics, sorry)....so we decided coffee would be at our usual spot called the Stairs Cafe....cool little cafe...and guess what..... the cappuccino....delicious....thick foam, lots of foam...very very strong coffee....a delcicious choc biscuit with wafer..no choc sprinkles....but the rest of the coffee was absoloutely amazing....let me share a pic with you....
