Haifa overnight

So...in actual fact i was a little bit confused when i posted the last blog...after Alanya and Limassol...it was in fact Haifa overnight...oops....so....during the day not much of a chance to go out...however...our plans were to go out during the day but rather at night and have some good dinner....we wanted to go back to the place we were the very first time we came to Haifa....on the main street where you can see the Garden and eat amazing haloumi salad and dips...and that is exactly what we did...i finished work and off we went....and yes...the salad was as amazing as we remembered....and like last time...so much haloumi...really not stingy at all....here some pics...

After our dinner...we realised we have a few Shekels (Israeli currency) left....so....what to do....i think we all know the answer....ice cream....we could get two scoops...and you know what...they were worth it...we had cookies.....and it was Oreo cookies...so damn yummie....back on the ship it was crew party and us, the guest services, we were hosting it...so we all got duty for 45min to serve drinks.....it was outside on the tenniscourt...so at the beginning a little chilli...but then it started filling up and it actually got warm...let me share some pics with u.....all people from our team....

A good night out...turned out to be fun.....and so...the next day Haifa....was sleeping cause i only got a few hrs....why....my shift started at 5am....and yes....you guessed right....didnt quite go to bed at 10.....but in all honesty...i dont feel i missed anything...the plan in Haifa was to go out...eat our haloumi...other than that....nothing we both really wanted to do.....so a successful overnight.....and now just some sea days left and cruise is finito again...time is just flying...oh.....and of course we still have our dinner which we do every cruise...and this time it was Le Bistro....and i was craving the Pork fillets while kim was craving the coq au vin....so Bistro was the good choice...and of course ill never say no to scallops and cheese platter....yummie....and yes...ill add some pics...just in case you have forgotten what this amazing food looks like....

As you can see....i asked for just brie and camembert....not in the mood to have the others....and how amazing they present it...really wow...so next cruise is the last 10 day cruise...after that Repo and then the summer run..which consists of two different alternating cruises..each being a week.....cheers from me.....

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
