Santorini
So yesterday was Santorini.....nice but i would have prefered to share my day with someone....i was very excited to finally see this "most amazing Greek island", but to be honest my best is Mykonos, and that is after having seen Santorini....although i admit...my time was limited so i only went to Fira, and apparently Oia is the village to see in Santorini, but that i would prefer to do with friends. All my friends had such funny shifts that no one was off....but you know me....so i went a little my myself.....so lets start with just a few steps back...haha.....
After Venice was sea day....so we actually decided after dinner it would be nice to drink some of the Italian wine we have..of course we organised some wine glasses and some nuts, biscuits and cake.....and we just chilled in Dina and my room...what a cool evening...ended up going to bed at 2am...but so what, we all had late shift, meani first one of us started at 10, that was mr...i was supposed to start at 12:30 but i had my verbal assessment for the basic safety course with the staff captain....so off i went.....this whole thing took 10min...was quite frustrating cause we were in Corfu anf for oncei would ave had a lot of time in Corfu to finally see the place...but guess what...i just managed again to justget iut from the harbour find the nearest coffee shop and have a good macchiato...was very good though....spent a nice hour by myself just reflecting and enjoying....so i still have hope that one day i will get to see the actual main part of Corfu anf not just the coffee shop right outside the terminal....but to go to the main area it is about 20min walk...hence i have not made it yet....next time...i keep hoping...haha...
So then the next day was Santorini......i was off at 17:00.... First i thought about taking the donkey ride up...but thought that would be more fun with someone...so i decided....cable car it is this time....man...never had a cable car that goes up so quickly, took like 2min, no joke...when arriving at the top, the little village of Fira...it was like being hit my souvenir shops...man...never ending....not sure if i love that...i think that is a reason i would say i prefer Mykonos so far...but like i said, i still wanna see Oia...maybe that is different.....i of course took pics while walking around....you know me.....here are just a few....

Then i decided it is time to find some little place with a good view and have a seat.....hmmm...what to order....of course Greek but i thought i would like to have some haloumi again.....so that took a little bit to find...im fussy.....view and haloumi...thought that would be easy but because haloumi is Cypriot and NOT Greek it was not so easy....finally found a cute little spot with good view and halmoumi...so i ordered feta and sundried tomato dip with loads of French bread (man it was so crispy and so so good...i had to ask for a second basket of it) and i also dipped the bread in the olive oil...amazing...and then of course a platter of haloumi....i ordered some water cause i thought i would have to work later....after my meal i was just chilling and the waiter brought me a jug of sangria and said it was on the house...now i def could not say no to that...So good...so relaxing...and who cares about work later......here is pics....
......now the question arose...how to get back down to the tender boats...walk, donkey or cable car....hmmmmmm...what do u think i chose? I decided to walk down....hehe...so much fun....was quite steep and so many donkeys in the way...next time im gonna take a ride up....should be fun....good times.....He are some pics that i took on the way down.....dont you just love the little cliff house.....
So next is Mykonos...but we are tendering and i start work at 12.... So...hold thumbs maybe i find a way with my two friends to get out, its Julia's last time in Mykonos and we really wanna get out.......cheers
