Mykonos

So before i start on Mykanos here is a quick update on my last 2 days.....So....first Corfu, i managed to have a greek macchiato and find some internet before the 10am crew drill....so that was successful....Greek macchiato, amazing...cannot complain, here is one pic from Corfu....its about as much as i saw...haha...town was 30min walk...no way i was gonna manage....

Oh yes....almost forgot....sushi last nite, fab, had the catepillar role, eel and cucumber with avo on top...dessert greentea cake, so nice and fluffy, forgot to take a pic...next time...just so that i can make you all jealous....just kidding, just so u know what im talking about...but in all honesty more to make u jealous....

Santorini sucked big time...i had training from 10 until 12, then i had work from 1330 until 9pm with 30min dinner break....and i had to eat all by myself....dina and marnie were ashore (santorini is 1330 until 10pm), julia had her 30min break just before me and anastasia just after me...and no way we are allowed to change and no, im not assuming, u can imagine we tried. What really sucked was the fact that out of 2400 passengers, only 120 were on board from 1330 until 1900, and 5 of us in the front....what the......doesnt make any sense....i never had time tick soooooo slowly....but enough with the complaints....i hav one pic of santorini, the little village at the top is called fira....u can walk up, take the cable car or ride the donkey....but as we all know, i never made it off the ship...but the view was still amazing...apparently santorini has one of the most beautiful sunsets on earth....mabye next time.....

And today is Mykonos...i worked at 1130 so....Def decided to go out. Julia and i managed to get out at 745 and grab the first shuttle into town....yay....wow...amazing scenery, i loved it...the only thing which i hated was the wind...it is so windy...i thought cape town was windy, cape town is nothing compared to Mykonos....but scenery so wow...we of course walked to the famous 5 windmills on top of the hill..

Then we found some cappucino...we searched for a while, cause Mykonos is expensive, everywhere it is like 4 or 5 euros..are they crazy...finally found a place full of Greek people and it was 2.5 euros..that was ok...of course we had our cappucino with some baklava....both fantastic...and guess wot...the greek coffee was very strong and the foam was like in South Africa...so well done to Mykonos...who would have thought.....then off to roaming through the tiny street....i thought i was in a fairy tale....so amazing...wow..wow...wow...so i have found another place...greece no longer just italy...im honestly speechless...cannot wait to see Santorini as i have heard it is even more amazing than Mykonos....

While walking Julia & I stumbled across Louis Vitton....we thought we couldnt see properly...who would have thought....then before heading back we found a small cosy place that offered haloumi salad...apparently it is a cypriot speciality...so it was not so easy to find...Julia never had haloumi and i thought i need to introduce her....the waiter said that the haloumi salad would cost 12 euros...so we said we just wanted some haloumi and dips and bread...after some bargaining the price came to 6.5 euros...how good are we...haha....and guess what...it was fab....then we headed back to the ship...next time we gonna have some ouzo...but we thought 11 in the morning would be pushing it....here is 2 more pics......
