Bridge and Split

So i promised to tell you about my last module Training...about my exam and some more awesome pics on Split.....lets start in chronological order.....so after my amazing lunch in Izmir i didnt care to have to go back for training.....which in the end lasted 3hrs....and 45min was spent on the bridge, like i mentioned before is where the officers are who steer the ship.....so im not gonna go into the theory of the last module was pretty boring...about what colour bin the bottle and can bin is to why we wear protective gear with chemicals.....but the bridge was nice....its on deck 12 and the area is so big.....of course it is right in the front....they showed us how they can see the temperature in each cabin, how they see whether a cabin has smoke.....where they press the various alarm buttons for any emergency and of course where the steering occurs.....looks like a cockpit but a little less complicated....i also got to put on an officers hat and sit in the steering chair....hehe...the small things that can amuse me....i know....haha....good times......here are some pics

Now we are at the right schedule and caught up again...this morning i had my final exam....as mentioned before you need to have 80% to pass, which kind of makes sense. I managed to look over my notes the night before, why....cause at work i was operator, which means you sit alone in a booth in the back office and you just answer phone calls, either from guests or crew that phones you when they detect something is not working or they have questions....normally a rather busy job but someone i think they all knew i needed to read my notes and between 8pm and midnight it was dead quiet...def was not complaining cause it gave me some time...haha.....so this morning i wrote the exam....max allowed time was 2hrs....i was done in 35min and passed with 95%.....ill congratulate myself....well done Sandra.....thank you, thank you very much...haha.....so now i just have the final assessment left which is going to be with the staff captain which is second in charge, in other words if something happens to the captain he is in charge, he is also the one that does ALL the disciplinaries.....

After my exam i had work until 2pm...but somehow the supervisor was in a very good mood.....not sure why....and she let me go at 13:40, to be honest it was very fair, there were 5 of us at the front desk and only 100 people on board and NO ONE in the atrium (our section with the bar) at all....so i was so happy....ran to my room where i met Marnie and we ran to the tender boat....good timing...as we boarded it left, man what a bumpy ride....but Split really is beautiful.....i love the buildings, i tried some Split truffels...amazing....and then we walked into some side alleys where there we no shops but rather people's houses...just love it....it was a little windy outside but warm...after 1hr Marnie had to go back so i just spent some time at a coffee shop drinking cappucino......herre is some pics....

back on the ship we decided no Garden cafe tonight....i honestly was not in the moos for lots of people at all....so three of us decided Sushi it will be tonight....some red hokkaido role for me...this time i took a pic (scallops and some white fish) and this time i needed dessert, green tea cake with green tea ice cream....so good.....and the little cracker thing on the side is made from rice and chocolate, was so crispy....amazing dessert....after that time to get into uniform and go off to work.....bye-bye.......can you believe i have been on the ship 6 weeks now......hmmmmmm.......
