Margaritaville

Margaritaville......by who....Jimmy Buffett.....and for those that do not know him....

James William "Jimmy" Buffett (born December 25, 1946) is an American singer–songwriter, author, actor, and businessman. He is best known for his music, which often portrays an "island escapism" lifestyle, and the often humorous things he has experienced throughout his life. Together with his Coral Reefer Band, Buffett has recorded hit songs including "Margaritaville" and "Come Monday".

Kim has been to Margaritaville before and when he was telling me about it, i got jealous and told him i also wanted to go check it out...and hence...first Cozumel onboard....off we went to Margaritaville....even Sofia was ready....have a look....

Outside Margaitaville
Of course we decided to have a seat on deck outside...at the bar...overlooking the beautiful water...have a look at the colour of the water....

Now, if I would tell you that i did not order a Margarita you would say...."what is wrong with you", and i absoloutely agree....so a Margarita it was...classical for Kim (frozen of course, NOT on the rocks)....and for me, rasperry mixed with the classical...again...frozen.....let me share some pics...

When we walked inside...i saw the coolest thing...a guacamole food cart....so i looked at the menu...and it said guacamole prepared to your liking...and the cart was moving around Margaritaville....so guess what....that is what i wanted...guacamole from the guacamole cart.....as we ordered, the cart came to us....and it was freshly prepared in front of us....2 avocados were peeled and mashed....then some lime juice...and then the question..."how do you want it"....spice wise....for us...medium please...before i continue...let me share so you know what i am talking about...

Finished product....medium spoce guacamole
He added all the various ingredients, then mixed it...and gave us a bowl of nachos...voila....done...and man...it was so damn good....simple...but so good...and of course i LOVED the fact that it was prepared right in front of us....cool idea, i have to admit. Sofia.....she fell asleep as we entered Margaritaville.....however, ithink the smell of guacamole woke her and she decided it was time for her to taste some guacamole and nacho chips....

Our experience at Margaritaville...divine...i really loved the frozen Margarita, but i have to admit, the classical one was better than my rasperry one...next time i will stick to classical. The rest of the food, i must admit, also looked very good...huge portions, but looked delicious...especially the volcano nachos...but literally a volcano...huge.
So...this is it from me on Margaritaville.....next up...not sure yet...let's see what i am in the mood for...so from me cheers....chat soon....or better...ill write soon...hahaha.
