Yes....of course there are many places on the ship where we can eat.....and this blog....i will dedicate to some of the nice plated food we have had so far....first up.....my favourite....sushi and sashimi....i have promised that i would share a pic of the dragon role....and finally i have not forgotten to take a pic. We ordered some mixed sashimi and a dragon role....with it also a hot and sour soup and a seaweed salad....seadweed salad...so delicious...in fact everything was bloody deliciois, and it is presented to beautifully...let me share with you...

Next up....Grand Pacific....that is one of the main restaurants and it is included in the cruise price...they have one standard menu that does not change and then they have a daily special menu....so...the big question...what did we have.....we ordered the salmon tartar, the prawns with potato salad and the snails in puff pastry....they were all starters....but we had actually already eaten...this was just for snacks....hahaha....and to try...we enjoyed it all...kim thought the puff pastry was a bit too big and i actually have to agree...but apart from that...it was all veyr delicious...time to share some pics...

Last but not least....i will talk about La Cucina...the Italian restaurant on board.....that one we are really enjoying cause NCL had changed the policy, it is no longer a set price for dinner but prices are a la carte...much better...so if you are not so hungry, you can just go and order a starter.....perfetto...so kim and i have been there a few times....and everytime, delicious....let me share a few pics...

Beef carpaccio
Grilled shrimp with vegetable rice and fried aubergine parcel
I think the pics tell you how the taste was....delicious....we thoroughly enjoyed it all...yes, we have had some other things at La Cucina...but i must be honest...i have not always taken pics...but...we will still be here a while...so i am sure...i will post another blog with some more pictures....next up....good old Cagney's...last contract we did not dine at the speciality restaurant, but this contract there is a new item on the menu called tomahawk....which we definitely wanted to try...it is a 29oz beef....and it looks like a tomahawk..for those of you who do not know what that is...let me share a pic...

Before i go there though...we of course had some starters....we opted to share th chicken drumsticks...they come with a smokey barbeque sauce...yummie...let me share a pic with you...

Mains...the tomahawk...accompanied with garlic mash and beetroots (those were our choices, there is also mushrooms, chips, broccoli, mac &cheese, roasted potato, gratin potato, coleslaw, cramed corn, onion ringsgreens beans and orzo pilaf). And oh my word...the meat was cooked to absoloute perfection (rare), it was very very yummie....let me share some pics...

The meat literally melted in your mouth....yes...we were rather full after that...but we needed something sweet....we shared the macadamia ice-cream sandwich...and it definitely has improved since we had it the last time....this time the cookie was soft and we could easily break it....very yummie indeed...and yes, i do have a pic...

For wine...one from Italy, specifically the Tuscany, it was called Il Borro IGT....delicious...well...so far we have not had a bad one at all....slowly making our way through it......but for now...this is it....we often also eat at Garden which is the buffet...but of that...no pics....wow...writing about all this food...my tummy is rumbling...dinner time...tonight...sushi and sashimi night.
