Baybrook Mall, Houston
As you might already know....Houston is our turn around port...meaning, guests start and end their ship vacation in Houston. So, we have had the chance to take the crew bus to the mall in Baybrook and explore some shops there...and wow...we did not only explore, we were in fact very successful at our shopping excursion. The mall has an Abercrombie which we all know is a firm favourite of mine, and yes, when there is a 40% sale on everything...even better. Kim (i have to give him credit), found another amazing shop, called Buckle....and oh my word....they have soooooo many jeans to chose from....and wow...exactly my style....bling on the pockets, tight....just so wow...the brand of the jeans is Rock Revival...and yes...i could have shoped for 5 pairs...but i stopped myself at 2....one pair on each trip to the mall.
We ended up chosing the Dutch Apple Caramel Streusel.....original cheesecake with baked apple, caramel and brown sigar cinnamon walnut Streusel.....and oh my word....it was soooooo good...i LOVED it...it was rich...so a good thing we shared....with it, i had a cappuccino and kim a coke. The cappuccino i was disappointed because the foam was very thin, there was not a lot at all and also the coffee was extremely weak.....but the cheesecake....amazing...would i go back...most definitely...i would love to try the pumpkin cheesecake (sadly it was not the season this time). Time to dhare some pics...
Now....there was also something funny...which i believe, or i would like to say.....only in America....in fact there were quite a few of those things and i would like to share some of them.....
Now you might be wondering where we ate the second time....this time...we did it the American way...burgers at Wendy's. And it was very good...the funny thing was that the fries still had some of the potato skin on....i believe to show that they are real fries.....anyway...very good. Time to share some pics...
We also had an ice-cream with a sugar cone....that cone was amazing...ice-cream was not bad (amaretto and strawberry), but the cone...very delicious...this was at a place called MArble Slab....oh yes...and with it we had a Starbucks cappuccino....i know they are not the best, but there are no other coffee places inside the mall and we also know that the Cheesecake Factory cappuccino was not good....so Starbucks it was...and it was decent.
So...as you can see we have not gone out too much in the States, then again, Houston is the only American port and there is not too much to do...so twice to the mall...that was perfect for us....tha's it on the American blog...more specifically Baybrook mall...next up...let's see.
