Repo.....13.10 to 20.10

So....back to the ship.....got to the ship sometime in the morning....me....not knowing quite what to do....best thing....go to personnel...but im not gonna bore you with all the knitty gritty details...of course im afternoon shift this first cruise and have some trainings and exman thingys to fill in....so i knew not much going out....one thing everyone..well almost everyone....has to do is complete 6 different routes to our individual emergency station.......that takes forever.....walking around the ship writing down door codes...oh well, now its done and signed my safety officer.....so this week....not so much going ashore cause lots of other things to do......

And to answer your question....and if you werent asking yourself this question....hmmmmmmmm.....yes, i had to work on my first day back.....was so good to see some familiar faces....nice to do some catching up...including going for some drinks at Bali Hai with my friend Banu.....thrn next day...no sea day...great news.....first port.....Koper, Slovenia....unfortunately i had a training in the middle of my free time....but we all know me...1.5 hrs was enough for me to get out and get a good macchiato....and man it was good.....for coffee brand lovers, it was Julius Meinl..amazing.....then decided to have another look at the main attraction of Koper.....why "another"....cause last time we did the repo cruise, like 6 months ago, which was my second cruise on my first contract.....i saw the clock tower....and this time...thought id go back....here is a pic....

Next day....Split...tender....so because i started at 12 and yes....another training in the middle of my free time....i couldnt get out....well hopefully have better luck later......for now....im off....little bit hungry....but hmmmmm.....whats for dinner...lets see....cheers.....

So...dubrovnik...hmmmm...bad weather...oh well....i still wanted to go out...had a good coffee julius Meinl...again...i know...how strange...did some strolling around and just enjoying scenery....here is a pic

And today Messina....not much time to go out...unfortunately the crew drill is stealing my off time....damn...so just some time to pop out for a cappuccino and buy some cheese and cold meat....hmmmmm....cappuccino...terrible...i sat down at a place where they serve illy coffee...but somehow they managed to stuff it up...way way tooooo much milk...foam disappeared just looking at it...looked good...but was terrible...so hmmmm...maybe not all over Italy the coffee is good....here is a pic...cause like i said looks great..but....learnt something...looks Can be deceiving😉

Last day....Naples...man i was excited...and now i can say....thank God we will be coming back here....i will need to be patient...only mid Nov...but coming back...and guess what one day i will still come to Naples AND do the amalfi coast...thats for sure....anyway...back to the present...went out in the morning....strolled around...what amazing weather we had....kim and i found a quaint little coffee shop...had some decent cappuccino...i wouldnt jump over rocks for it...and a good panini...and that was excellento...proscuitto, mozzarella, rocket and baby tomatoes....yummy...and then...Ice cream....and not just once...but twice....stopped at the first one and had amareno and pistaccio (no surprise there).... But then when we walked further saw another one that looked amazing....so had one more....just snickers....and i love peanuts...so damn....was good....i think you are starting to see a pattern...pistaccio...peanuts.....walnuts....hmmmmmm peacan-nut tart.....hmmmmm....carrot cake with walnuts....ok ill stop.....after stroll....time for work....next time i hope im off over lunch...kim knows this, apparently, amazing pizza place....so im already excited....after that work....and dinner....cagneys with friends....starter....jumbo shrimps....then fillet mingnot....dessert...cheese platter.....i loved the food....yummy and fillet cooked just right.....here is some pics.....

So....tomorrow we arrive at our new home port....rome...or should i say civitavechia.....so goodnite from my side......

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
