First cruise
So... The first cruise is almost over... The Norwegian Jade, which is my ship, has been doing this itinerary run for about 4 months, i just did it this once, 9 days..... As u know it included Madeira, Santa Cruz, Areciff and Malaga.... But i havent talked about Malaga and Areciff... So here goes.... Areciff..... Hmmmmm...... Very cute to look at for a couple hrs but i would say that is it, funny enough i actually thought i was in Greece, lots of white houses with blue edges, some white with green edges, beautiful. Also went to the only high hotel in the town to take photos cause the coffee shop was on the 17th floor, that i was told by my roommate to go to... Good choice. And now lets be informal, my roommates name is Gina.
Then of course today was Malaga, i was very excited, but i knew i had to get up early, we could go on land at 8 am but it takes 20min to walk into town and i had to be back at 1130, so a little bit rushed but well worth it. Gina took me which of course helped as she knew exactly where the sites were.... Haha.... The park, the cathedral, the main street and some good cappucino and Malaga pastry, yummy..... She also showed me the mandarine trees, hehe.... So cool... This place i would def go back to and spend a day or two there..... Now tomorrow is a ship day and then this cruise is finished, we get back to Barcelona. Next run is from Barcelona toVenice, that is called a repositioning cruise so guess what.... We only do it once....
So now to my work.... Yes i do do work....today we had to print keys for ALL new guests, check that they ALL work and check that ALL names are correct, boring but neccessary i guess... And not to forget in between dealing with passengers that are confused how to disembark the ship on Saturday.... Before 9am.... Wot is so hard to understand?
tonight we ate at the garden cafe, guest buffet on deck 12, inside and outside.... We were allowed cause it was a port day.... Tomorrow sea day couple of us are going to the sushi restaurant which is a la carte so we have to pay, but apparently it is def worth it.... Of course u know me.... Love food, so i have checked out the menu and it looks amazing.... Havent tried most of the different sushi roles EVER, so different...so excited
I have attached a few pictures.....so here is what they are....first is the cathedral today in Malaga, next is the first pic as we came off the ship this morning, next me walking back to the ship today in Malaga, then the little "Greek houses" in Areciff, view from hotel in Areciff, pastry shop today in Malaga, walking back to the ship in Malaga and the lighthouse in Malaga.... Again im sorry that i cannot add photos in the middle... Ill get there one day....... Little annoying but what can i do.....
Ps i figured out why i cannot sign out from skype on the ship, they block skype on the ship, so ONLY if u have automatic sign in, u r able to skype and then of course there will be no way u can sign out... Also u rather not cause then u cant use it again.....
