Napoli 2 times....

So...yes...i have been having huge troubles with the blog...hence no updates...so im not going to write in chronological order...im gonna put the two last Naples together in one blog...after all..this blog is aboutmy traveling adventures and what i have learnt and what might give you some ideas when you travel...food wise and other nice to know facts...it is NOT my life-story...but yes of course...i do sometimes tell you a little bit more that just the travels...oh my word...i am rambling...do not ask me why....one of those days i guess....

So...as you know we have not been having the best of luck lately with pizza...so we were really hoping to have some better luck...so off we went in another direction..in fact we ended up at the pizza restaurant where my friend, Iris, and I had that nocciolate coffee.....so....why there...two reasons...number one..it was a nice coldish but sunny day and we wanted to sit somewhere outside...sun of course...and secondly...i wanted kim to try that speciality coffee....so why not kill two birds with one stone...pizza and coffee.....the pizza we chose...spicy salami....and.......the verdict......first....a pic....

Well...there was enough cheese...the salami was excellento.....BUT the base was too soggy....def an improvement from the last few....but still not what we were looking for....we are starting to doubt ourselves...maybe we dreamt the first time we had pizza in Naples....damn...and yes...maybe we must go back there...not so many Naples left...and of course schedule is always the main problem...i must say though...the crust excellento...so of course after pizza...the speciality coffee..one machhiato and one noccialata....here a pic...

Very good....but we decided to make the two coffees into one cause the nut one...little too sweet....so better to relax the taste a little...hahaha....and yes...time to go back to ship...but not without the magnum...and no...no pistachio...so the sandwich one it was...and here one last pic of the view from just outside the ship...jealous? I would be...hahaha....

And the next Naples....yes...time to go out...not much...but enough for pizza....coffee and not to forget...ice cream...then again...there always is time for ice cream....but i also wanted some mozzarella and cold meat...ham...not prosciutto....but cooked ham....this time kim said...lets go to a place where he knows it is good (yes, i was skeptical..cause he said that before and it ended terrible.....)....it could unfortunately NOT be the place he took me the very first time (where it was excellento) cause that pizza place is a little too far when i have a short break....so off we strolled...a pace called Rosso Pomodoro....we managed to find a seat outside (sunny day)....looked at the menu...we went with 3 seasons...oval-shaped pizza....and you know what....here is a pic

It was amazing...the 3 seasons were...on the left ham and mushroom...then margharita and then ricotta and salami....best....ham and mushroom...but all was excellento...crispy base...not soggy at all...and gooey rind...it was just wow...loved it....i do wish the whole pizza was ham and mushroom....and we also got some crispy bread to start with which of course i dipped in olive oil with salt...excellent lunch...so happy...and to end...cappucchino...not the bestest....but decent...and of course not to forget..snadwich Magnum....but you know...there is another two i spotted now...a blackberry Magnum and a role with cent caramel...so...those two definitely have to be tried....so...off i go now...hope you enioyed my double Naples....now two more Naples...and finito...how sad....oh...but before i forget...we also had the famous baba...and it was amazing..came with nutella...well we chose the one with nutella...so good..and the soaking in the rum..just perfecto....yummie....here is part of it....

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
