Next few days

Yes....the next few days passed quite fast....not too much happening...Katakolon some good cappuccino...attempted to call my mom but internet was horrific...so decided to keep the internet session for Piraeus and just enjoy my cappuccino and the sun....Piraeus.....internet with my mom...it is so nice when you can have a great cappuccino, only pay €1.5 and sit and chat to my mom for over an hour with excellent connection...so nice....and now...time for Easter...

In my tradition, or family tradition, we get a Easter basket with chocs and a small present...so of course i want to continue that tradition......today we were in Izmir...kim didnt want to wait for exchanging Easter baskets until i was off at 11....so we got up early....yes....coffee and breakfast in bed and of course exchange of Easter baskets.....lots of chocs for me and some underwear...yes....spoilt...but the best Easter present we gave to each other....hmmmm....should i mention it....i think you need to wait a little longer until i have a good pic...and then ill mention the present we gave to US from US....hahaha.....so when i was off....time for Turkish kebab, Turkish salad.....of course our famous nuts...and not to forget our choc coffee shop for chocs and cappuccino...for kim Turkish coffee of course....kebab and salad, excellent...but we decided...next time we wanna try a different spot...just to see ones....of course the nuts....500kg of dried fruits (kim's favourite) and 200g of my salted (unpeeled) peanuts....so damn good....and yes...some chocolate......the chocolate wasnt so good...would not buy again...and now off to our choc coffee shop...they advertised new cappuccino...so i was curious...i was so happy when it came...pure choc spoon....yay....here a pic of me and the two coffees...and yes...small Turkish delight choc on the side....

After that...time to try on some boots and buy some tea and slowly head back to the ship...nice outing...relaxing...just what we needed...what was our dinner this cruise...well i got spoilt twice...once we went to Pappas Italian kitchen where i enjoyed the carpaccio followed by the prawns with risotto and Kim enjoyed the fried calamari followed by the meatball pasta....and dessert...def not to forget...cheesecake for kim and affogato for me...affogato, for those that dont know, is vanilla ice cream with an espresso poured over it...so so good....what a nice evening....

Once i was treated to Cagney's for lunch....where normally is for the VIPs....and i had the asparagus with proscuitto and parmesan, served on mushroom and rocket...dressing so divine....and mains, green salad with swordfish...so yummy...and yes...i do have some pics....

So....all in all...the past few days have been spoiling....so nice.....and tomorrow we are in Istanbul overnight...def going out...so then...yes...that will be my next blog...so cheerio.....

Wedding time.....my baby sister's wedding

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
