Naples

So...before i chat about Naples...lets chat about Spinnaker...a group of us went to Spinnaker, as my friend from the restaurant, Andrea was leaving for vacation....an excuse to go to Spinnaker....Prosecco....good music....and yes...Some dancing....was a fun night and time seemed to run away....here some pics

Next day was Naples....and kim said that he would like to choose the Pizza place...now there was a lot at stake...the last two pizzas have been quite a disaster..civvi and naples (even the ship ones were better...and those have thick base...so its telling a lot....)....well we walked to our favourite street, via Tribunali, and found the spot...Pizza Vera....we went to the upper section....we both decided to independantly look at the menu and see whether we would come up with the same...wierd enough..out of 30 pizzas we both came up with the same...buffalo mozzarella, tomato base, ham, and egg....and man...we waited sooooo long for it...was unbelievable...and hmmmm....def def NOT worth the wait...hmmm..how can we go wrong three times in a row...hmmmm...deal...next time i choose the pizza place...man.....after that....i chose a spot for some coffee...and cappucchino foam was amazing...we even got a piece of black choc with it...the coffee was a litte luke warm...when it is supposed to be hot...so half successful...we have started to improve....here is a pic (and no, i dont have a pic of the pizza...it doesnt deserve a pic...)

Then...heading back to the ship...time was running out....but of course...had to buy some buffalo mozzarella ....divine....and we stopped at some shop where we bought some cherry struddle..so damn good...so moist not dry at all...here a pic of the mozzarella and struddle...they deserve to have a spot in this blog...

And if we didnt have enough sweets yet.....we of course wanted a pistaccio magnum...but they didnt have...damn...but we did see another one which we never had before....so many more choices than back home in south africa....a sandwich magnum...and man....the sandwich part...not the part with hard choc....wow...amazing....you know what would be excellent....a pistaccio sandwich magnum....damn.....im drooling...and yes...i do have a pic of the magnum....

Oh yes....and i almost forgot...i got a new iphone cover...yes...looks like chocolate...and the coolest part...there was a piece of real choc inside the cover when i bought it...how cool....and im gonna share a pic with u....i love it....so me

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
