Photo sessions

So....end of the contract is nearing....just a couple of days and finito...time just seems to fly....so the last couple of days...Iris and i enjoyed the ports (Istanbul and Naples), doing what we do best...eating chocs....drinking coffee and taking many many pics....so im gonna keep it short..but u will get many pics....so Istanbul it decided to snow...first day, Iris and i went out....had this ok coffee...best part, you got 2 spoons with your coffee...one normal metal one....and one made of choc...so you can swirl the choc one in...and it melted into the coffee...so good...Iris and i chatted for almost 3 hrs...dont ask me about what...and pics of course....second day we went to another coffee shop....same story....this time great cappuccino with thick foam and again...lots of pics in the snow....so here are some of the pics from Istanbul.....

Then it was 2 sea days....of course there was sushi lunch the one day..And yes, i had the rock n roll again....and then one night drinks in the cabin again....5 of us having a chilled evening with some red wine...we went to watch the show (4 guys from the states singing 60s and 70s music, what a fantastic vibe....i have seen them before and that is why i dragged my friends to come with me....so nice....love them)....Naples...much better weather than istanbul....but again...Iris and i decided...pics and coffee it was....and of course i spotted a truffle shop...and yes...of course i had to buy some chocs....and something small for kim....the truffles...amazing...def going back to that shop...then time for some coffee...we tried the speciality....niccolette coffee.....layers of espresso...double thick cream and hazelnut syrup mixed with cream...so damn sweet....but so damn good....here is a pic..
And after that photos, photos and more photos...again...im gonna share some...man we had so much fun....

And guess what....after that it was time to pack....so exciting...tomorrow at 8 i would be off to the airport....so happy....but back to my photos...Iris and i had such a good time posing and it was a fun last day....in the evening she gave me a good bye present...a bright yellow summer top...love it..thank you....another real special friend who i will not forget...now off to sleep...goodnite....

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
