Limassol and Haifa one

So.....Limassol...tough day.....finished work at 8 in the morning....yes...im still night shift.....but could only sleep 1.5hrs cause 10 was the boat drill...mandatory....even for nightshift.....after that was captain's meeting and then our team meeting...then time to meet my parents in Limassol....yay....they were at a coffee place....so macchiato it was....needed something.....wow...eyes wanted to close....coffee does do wonders though......then took a stroll though Limassol....they are famous for their handmade tablecloths and napkins etc....really wow....and of course they still had a lot of Christmas ones.....so i thought let me buy one that represents Cyprus or Greece and one for Christmas.....i love to decorate for Christmas...makes me feel happy.....so i bought a long runner, beige, with olives on it....and i bought a white Christmas square tablecloths with Christmas star flower and reindeers...so nice...wow...really excited about my buy....the street was decorated with Christmas lights...nice....here a pic....

then my stomach told me that it is way past lunch....found a really quaint little place, very local....wooden tables outside...in the sun...odered some mezzes for everyone and some white wine.....mezzes included....tzatziki...hummous....double portion deep fried calamari, double portion haloumi.....and it came with some beetroot, bread, potato salad and olives....amazing....what an excellent lunch....and yes...i do have a pic.....

After lunch i said that i wanted to go to gym and then sleep time...and somehow everyone was a little tired so we all went back....nice chilled day out.....loved the food....

Next day was Haifa....we would stay overnight again....so the second day we planned a long 12hr tour...so yes...first Haifa would be relaxed.....wanted to show my parents that Israel is not the most beautiful place....quite dirty.....so we took the little subway thing up...ended up at Kim and my favourite sweet place where i bought...of course....marzipan....and yes there is a photo coming...and devoured it with an ok macchiato......good life....

Then strolling across the top....overlooking the ship and taking some cool pics....of course...here is one...
Then slowly started our walk down....why walk...cause we wanted to see the famous Barahij garden...not sure what its called....unfortunately the middle entrance was closed...only open until 12.... But we could go into top entrance and walk slighlty down....nice and manicured...doesnt fit the landscape at all.....here some pics....

It took us about 1.5hrs to walk down...but a slow walk...and enjoyable walk....then time to sleep...but when we reached the room...something was waiting for us...chocolates....and yes...of course my gran and i ate....which ones did i have...guess......i had two.....yes...the one with cacao around it and the one with the pistaccio on it.....my gran had the two white ones....i was not jealous....but when i woke up...she also had eaten the other ones...and damn...i was upset...she hates marzipan...i LOVE marzipan...and the one with red on top....marzipan....you can only imagine my jealousy....hmmmmm......

Dinner i decided to join my parents at Papas.....yummy....what to have carpaccio......and then salmon...the food is just so good...damn....other meals included seafood risotto..caprese....calamari..... ossobuco....meatball pasta...was just so good....dessert my dad and i shared a tiramisu...great dinner...some pics...i think so.....

Yes...the meatball pasta looks a little messy...my dad couldnt wait...then i said...excuse me...photo first...hahaha....then 10 i started work....reason cause i would be off at 6am so i could go on tour with my parents....i was so excited...little bit of Jerusalem and DEAD SEA....bring it on.....so cheers for today.....
