Team dinner....Naples....turn around....

So....havent chatted much about my team....well....if u can call it that...its more like distinct groups that somehow work together...anyway...for our hardwork....HD (Hotel Director) informed GSM (Guest Service Manager), my direct boss, that she should take the team for a dinner....we got split into two batches because of course there has to be people at the desk for the guests.....hahaha.....the dinner was in Grand Pacific...and it was a nice evening....some red wine and the a la carte choices were also good.....of course i took some pics.....me and no pics....nope...that doesnt exist...but instead of showing u food pics for once...ill post some pics from my team...

But u know....one food pic i need to post...just because i was playing around with colours...and thought this was quite a cool pic....here u go...what do u think.....cheesecake with strawberry sauce....sorry already half eaten...good cake...but a little later ill tell u about an excellento cake.....

Next day....last day of the cruise encore....time just seems to fly.....december...shit....time does fly...it doesnt just seem to fly......so i was off over lunch time...so finally kim and i could go for pizza...in Naples....where pizza was invented...the one place he is been telling me about since he met me....so i had high expectations...actually very high....weather was horrible.....but even that couldnt stop us from going out....takkies tick...jacket tick....umbrella tick....ready....took a taxi (in sunshine u could def walk), and then found the restaurant.....man....it was absoloutely amazing....funny part was...kim didnt even allow me to look at the menu, he just ordered for us...and he got it spot on.....i have never seen a pizza like that...and the dough so soft and gooey...just wow...here is a pic....

So its a circle with a hole in the middle....and the pizza is slightly stuffed....but all various...little was ham and mushroom, then spinach feta, then salami and ricotta, then aubergine and peppers etc etc...topped with rocket, parmesan and proscuitto.....man was so good.....im def going back there.....i have two more naples until kim leaves....and then two more naples after that....one is new years day, strange planning, so im guessing wont be able to go there.....after lunch we strolled around in the rain...past the christmas market...found some marzipan, was not good, too much sugar and too little almonds, here is a pic of the walk around....you can see rain and dark....and it was only around 1.....

we found a coffee place and had some cappucchino.....foam was disappointing...taste good....kim chose a pastry, not sure why i let him...cause out of all of them he picked the one that i DEF would NOT have picked...and it was not my taste at all...little dry...too little cherry stuffing....here is a pic....

Then...believe it or not....both our feet were soaking wet.....pants drenched....so time to go back to the ship...really pity cause i had 5 hrs off....but in the rain...no way....rather go back and have a hot shower and stay in the warm and dry.....hmmmmm....but man...im still dreaming about that pizza place....and i loved the little side streets with the christmas market and lots of tiny non commercial stores....so cute....hope to explore when weather is a little better.....now to my second last topic.....turn around day....busy as always.....amazing Alessio brought two balls of mozzarella again....love that...but i think u all know that.....and in the evening it was a friend of mines birthday....so unfortunately i couldnt make dinner at Cagneys....so she was so cute....she asked them to cut me a piece of cake and bring it down to reception for me....man...never had a cheesecake like that...she had a special order....it was def NY style cheesecake and fresh fruits on top...was amazing cause itjust melted in your mouth...and then after shift i deceided to join her a little in the Spinnaker bar for some cocktails and dancing.....was a good nite out....nice to dance a little....it was quite empyt which meant that we could request songs...and then of course its the best when u an dance to music u love.......

So....now last topic....not mentioned in heading why...cause was a surprise for me....so thought it could be one for u also.....first surprise....we ended up after 2 sea days not in Alanya bUT Atalanya....why....due to bad weathe port was closed...didnt much effect me cause didnt go out..first guests complained....of course...and then they actuallly realised that it is a better port...and they liked it....guests are funny at times...and good....the excursions could still take place....so no biggie......but now to the mainbsuprise.....kim gave me a huge bunch of flowers.....dont ask me why....but it was the nicest thing...i had the biggest smile on my face.....and the flowers from colours to type perfect.....hmmmmm....love them....and of course i had to have a pic....here it is....

So....big surprise and def a very good surprise....so...soon israel....and the second day in israel its my day off....so im so excited....finally my turn....lets just hope everything cause according to plan and we go there...cause honestly i wanna have the opportunity so see jerusalem and the dead sea...hmmmmm.....and first dinner 2nit....
