Team dinner and Corfu

So the team dinner was in celebration of winning the team of the month...now this was because we got nominated for the whole passport issue....you might remember...and we won...so our entire team was invited to go to one of the inclusive a la carte restaurants on the ship...the ones we are not go eat at....so for starters i had the smoked salmon tartar with avo, yummy....then the seared salmon and also shrimp risotto(i was on a salmon mission) and for dessert the cheese platter.....the food was good, not amazing but good....the tartar was very good though....so we also all got a little star...see pics below.....

The next day it was Corfu....finally i got a chance to go out in Corfu....yay...first crew drill then Corfu...the drill ended at 11:30 and crew onboard was 14:30, always an hour before we sail.....we decided to walk to town and our mission was to dip our feet in the ocean....the town was a 30min walk, which we knew, and it was so hot, on the way we of course took many photos...lots also posing....then we decided to go on our mission and find a beach...10min later we found one....very cool....But first some pics before getting to the beach...

Then it was time for the beach....We took many many posing photos cause Dina wants to improve her photography skills, was lots of fun....then feet dipping ended up in a sim in my underwear...it was black...so n problem, the problem was afterwards, no towel and just my clothes, but weather was so hot that i dried very quickly...was fund..of course no visit is complete without...you guessed it macchiato or cappucino...this time it was cappucino, so good...but not like Mykonos...foam there still takes the cherry.....afterwards it was a fast paced walk back to the ship...time was a little tight....made it...we squeezed in gym and we both started work at 16:00, man superwoman, haha.....work was only until 8pm, halelouia.....some pics to make you jealous....So this week is Santorini and this time i changed with someone...but tomorrow more about that.....

    Hey remember a story with the flip-flop? actually we were in time on the ship just because you were a good shoe-maker! =)

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
