Izmir and mask ball

So Izmir again.....this time did something totally different....man you can just never stop exploring, loving it....having a blast seeing all the different things....So first things first...i had to make my way to the famous nut shop where i stocked up on mixed nuts, i think i mentioned it before, it is just so cheap, i would be a fool not to stock up, and i mean i love nuts...so what the hell....then we decided to make our way to the famous Bazar...normally it akes about 40min to walk there, 3.5km away, we made it in 20min, again this is time pressure, so lets speed walk and then rather stroll the Bazar and enjoy our time there.....what a cool place, they were playing this prayer music really ally loud and there were stand everywhere....so different.....i loved the little stalls where they wre selling mini apples...they were everywhere and shirts, dried fruit and nuts, Turkish coffee cups and of course Turkish eateries and seperate coffee places. Trust me i didnt have coffeethough, had a Tuerkish tea, that was yummy...and the vibe so typical Turkish...so so cool....have a look at pics below....

After the amazing tea and atmpsphere we just walked around looking at everything, i bought aTurkish coffee cup as a souvenir...so cool...here is also a pic of some type of church or something that was just positioned in the middle of the market, just wow...then once again speedwalk to the ship, what a cool time out.....so much fun, def wanna go back to market but i. Also wanna have that lagmacum pizza again, remember the one i told you about last Izmir?

So then in the evening it was time to finally try the Steakhouse, Cagney's. Man it was good, but def not even comparable to SA! The meat you just will not find anywhere...but seeing that i have not eaten fillet for two months, it def did the job, haha....lets start, for starters there was a lot of sea food options, so i went with the crkab cakes, honestly i should have gone for the jumbo shrimp cocktail....but anyway...the crab cakes were divine...then mains of course 300g fillet...and dessert i had the cheese platter, so so good...Dina had the aple pie, which there is a pic below....was also good...food good...but not my favourite out of all the speciality restaurants....

 

Tonight there was the crew party, and theme was Venice mask ball...so dress up a little formal. After dinner we went to Dina and my cabin and we drank some wine..and just chatted about fun stuff....made some pics..laughed a lot...then got dressed and went to the mask ball...was so much fun...we stayed till almost the end, dancing, having wine and lots of fun...the best was the fact that we were the first so we had the entire room to ourselfes and enjoyed dancing...good times.....here is some pics below.....

 

 

So, another week almost done, tomorrow is Venice..ill be going out alone...which will be nice for once and then its sea day and then Corfu...the Greek island run again....so chat soon.....have fun now....i def am.....
