Knysna......bloem....jhb

So...last stretch of the trip.....we left early in the morning...and guess what...it was raining...so yes...they had to start biking with rain gear on...and i decided to drive the audi....let me show you a pic

At one stage the boys stopped under a tree and made us all shuffle in the car (you have to see, the car was so fully packed, that one seat was down...so in the backseat there were actually only 2 seats....in the end....diana and thomas sat on the passenger seat and dad and kim squeezed into the back with all their rain gear on...i was comfortable in the driving seat...and we awaited a heavy rain fall to pass....have a look at thomas's hands....

Our lunch stop was in Willowmore...we entered this village totally blase...and decided lets just stop for a small snack and coffee...very low expectations....then we saw this wierd looking coffee place...and decided to enter...

Wow...what an experience...we thought we were transported back in time...but a totally awesome experience...a definite must stop...have a look

And then...unexpected....we thought the boys got it all....heavy wind....rain...and not just drizzle heavy down pour.....mist...and guess what....they even got hail...what the.....i felt so bad....and they just carried on driving...crazy...at the end...we arrived in Bloem at 18:30...not so bad....we had to have many stops witht his miserable weather and of course the speed was not what it could have been....bloem we settled in a small guest house in the center...very friendly...we even mentioned to the owner we want to leave at 6:30 so she said normally brakfast is 7:30 but if we wanted she would make us...amazing.....in the evening we went to a place called seven on Kellner....what a cool atmosphere....decoration was so different....

Food was good...nothing oh my word wow....but is was good....everyone had different things from pita bread with hummous to haloumi salad for starters and from fillet to salmon...something for everyone...

The next morning...early rise and a drive to jhb....and let me share some last pics with you.....arrival in jhb was lunch time...late lunch...and then thaomas and diana wer off to the airport...back home to switzerland....what an amazing bike trip...all the places we saw...just a beautiful country....

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. Another cruise in Western Caribbean

This is the second week....we started the journey in Tampa and this Tampa we decided to take Sofia to the aquarium...I was quite interested to see whether she would be fascinated with the fishes or not....and she was....certain ones...certain ones not too much....but she definitely enjoyed going there. The aquarium had 8 sections: Wetlands Trail, Journey to Madagascar, Bays & Beaches, No Bone Zone, Coral Reefs, Dragons Down Under, Ocean Commotion and Splash Pad. We visited all except for the Splash Pad (that is outside for the kids to play and it was closed at the moment). It was nice also because there were areas where you could touch the sting rays...I enjoyed that, Sofia did not want to touch them, and nor did Kim. First few days in our new home- Dallas TX

So we have arrived in Texas....yay for us....and we have been doing quite a lot...so yes, we have been keeping busy. We arrived on Friday 23rd June in the afternoon at 2pm....after doing immigration, we went to the hotel, dropped off the luggage, literally, and went to fetch our new car....a white Jeep Cherokee....it is so nice....we are soooo excited to have it...beautiful...have a look.... Sofia in the Jeep Kim and the Jeep Cherokee Friday night we had some Sushi take-aways because Sofia was jet lagged, and so were we, so we did not make it to a restaurant with her.  Saturday there was also quite a few admin things to get done...but it was a rainy day....it rained almost the whole day...so we got a bit wet, but it is warm rain......so never mind.
