Cape Agulhas to Oudshoorn
This ride was again interesting....this time the boys got heat..and not a little a heat....like 40 degrees hear...we drove through some interesting villages/ towns....the Pass we did...again...amazing scenery...just so beautiful...we even had to make some stops to take pics....
Just breath-taking...yes...i have mentioned that before, but im allowed to say it again...we found a small little coffee shop along the way, had cappucchino...or let's say like this....we all ordered waters and cappucchino....and all the cappuchinos went back whole....you could not drink them...they were so terrible...the place was an old little farm house, cute, had all the potential, but the coffee really disappointed...did find this saying on the wall though which i liked....
Lunch....another little arb village...the heat was killing us....kim even went and wet his driving pants and drove wet with them after lunch....but then the weather changed...and rain clouds started to appear...heavy heavy rain clouds....it started to drizzle....and then we hit a small town....where we could take cover under a petrol station, and the clouds just opened...wow....so much rain (now dad also got rain, we started to joke that hail was missing), when it finally started to drizzle again, we continued our journey.... This time i decided not to ride on the bike but rather go in the car, the warmth, the non-wetness....we were lucky by the time we arrived in buffalsdrift it was still drizzling....we unloaded our gear....were brought to ourt tents....and yes, they were tents....and then the clouds opened again...a massive thunderstorm...lighting, thunder..i thought the tent was gonna be blown away....damn....buffalsdrift is beautiful though, the individual lodges right by a big damn and then the main lodge serves breakfast and dinner, dinner is a vast a la carte selection...and food was delicious....we all loved it...but let me share some pics with you....
