Past couple of days

Hmmmm....i guess an update is required....so...the last two egypts are finally over....and no...i couldnt or better said didnt want to go out....we all know what i think of port said....and i was off till 12.... No way i was gonna get up early and rush out.....for what....to see dirt and rubbish....i think my time was better spent sleeping in....going to gym...much more rewarding.....and the same said for alexandria....again....the library i have seen and museums....im not the museum type person.....so sleeping in and gym it was again until shift started.....nice enough in port said i had straight shift until 19:30 and then i was done.....how nice.....long day though cause the ship was dead...all people going off to explore the pyramids.....and then alexandria i only started work again lunch time until 6 and then again at 9pm for 2 hrs, so when i was off at 6.....a nice dinner at Le Bistro it was.....and u know how much i like that restaurant.....starters it was scallops, yes, probably u can guess my meal cause i go for the same.....mains.....salmon...that creamy mushroom sauce and the way it is cooked....just perfecto....and then dessert.....not to forget in this restaurant....cheese platter....this time i asked them just to bring the Camembert not any of the other cheeses.....haha....and of course butter.....always a good way to end the meal......work at night went quickly.....

The next two sea days....not great...i had a runny nose which leaves u energy depressed....well me....and then i couldnt go to gym....so starting at 12:30.....became veeeeeeery looooooong......work was quite busy the last two sea days....i was assigned operator some of my shift which i gladly accepted....two reasons.....runny nose....and my book....girl with the dragon tattoo....getting really into it....so if the phone is not busy, i get to read a page or two......

Rome....what to say....embarkation day chaos....no gym....still a little fluey....almost was late for work...somehow managed to sleep till 9:20 and had to be at work at 9:45.... Shower, eat and get dressed.....the guests this cruise seem younger again....last cruise it seems like the average age was like 70....man so many wheelchairs....wow.....amazing though that these people still travel...nice though.....and next day sea day....and flu almost gone...and somehow i had energy of note....dont know why.....i was jumping around....hmmmm.....i think it might be cause i need or want to get out.....well tomorrow i have 2hrs and trust me i am going out......no other way......but first...let me tell you about our room service....cagney....(steak house)..... Starters....crabcakes....comes with guacamole and pink sauce...and for those of u who dont know what pink sauce is...shame on u....(tomato sauce and mayonnaise)....then it was a large mixed salad with salmon and lamb......of course mine was the salmon....and dessert....cheese platter...and not to forget butter....and with it all, a fresh loaf of bread....want anything else....i dont think so....here are some pics.....

So....then finally time to get out...yes....only 2hrs but trust me...we made the most of it...well eating wise at least....startered off at some sea-side restaurant for Greek salad.....tomatos a little floury.....but otherwise excellent...of course olive oil like always....amazing...and bread....definitely....then it was a few steps further....why did we move....sun had disappeared from the first spot and we wanted to find a sunny spot for some coffee and kim wanted to smoke a cigar....so def sun was needed.....found a spot....even had couches outside....hmmmmm...why didnt we find this place for lunch.....im not gonna answer that question......coffee...Illy...so tick....foam...Tick....sun....tick.....excellento.....then of course....i think you all know what is next.....yes....guess was correct...ice cream....the flavours today.....little different....no pistaccio....damn....and last time it was stracciatella and strawberry....so this time we needed to try new ones....dark chocolate and tiramisu....excellento......before going to ship though we ended up buying a gyros.....its like a pita folded and filled with pork cubes, tomatos and tzaziki....excellento....talk about eating in chaos.....yes....but good chaos......good day out....work ended at 10 tonight....wow....that was a major surprise....early for afternoon shift...but i had straight shift....def no complaints from my side......tomorrow Piraeus and then Izmir....updates will follow.....cheers for now....sorry about all the writing and no pics....next time more...i promise.......
