Hmmmmm

I could tell you about our last two ports.....both in egypt.....port said and alexandria...but i think i might leave that....hmmmm...thats because in one word, almost, i could describe...dirty..filthy....sis.....but now ill go into a little bit more detail...cause i guess Alexandria deserves it....so the first port was port said.......wow.....it was dirty...and the men are pigs...Wow....we were all told not to eat outside cause its so dirty that u can easily get gi....something that could make u vomit and diahoria......and then it gets transmitted so quickly that an outbreak could happen on the ship....what a joke....so best not to eat anything...and def not veg, fruit, salad etc...BUT HONESTLY... Id rather eat nothing at all....so its was filthy....the only nice thing was the one mosque....for those they have money...But for absoloutely nothing else....very sad....beach dirty as hell also....hmmmmmm......here is a pic of mosque and beach

Other than that...nothing worth mentioning.....next day Alexandria...and you can do one of two things...take a shuttle bus to a western upmarket mall or go and see the ultra modern library....now im not a shopper....so seeing architecture it was....kim and i took a taxi....i thought it was gonna fall apart....arrived at the library....i was shocked on the way there...again...rubbish everywhere, building crumbling everywhere....so sad....just so dirty...the library...hmmmmm..thought i was in a totally different country....modern...clean sqaure...amazing....worth seeing....here is a pic.....(not best pic)

Found a nice coffee shop....and yes cappuccino was decent...good i can say...Not excellento...but good....and the brownie that came with it....wow....gooey inside and hardish outside....perfecto....yummy......then kim said lets take a horse carriage back...Wot an experience...They drive on the main road with all other cars and buses...and no, not in a seperate lane or in the slow lane....in the middle....traffic...another story....def very bad drivers....but loved going around with it...saw some other parts of Alexandria...went along promenade....good to see....here is a pic of someone selling shoes at the side of the street...and all the rubbish.....

And believe it or not...That is actually little rubbish....then went back to ship....with the horse carriage and there in the port was a small market where i bought my souvenir mug....and yes....it does have gold on it...cause somehow gold just reminds me of the egyptians....tombs...pyramids....whatever....still hope to get a chance to see pyramids....only going two more times and you need the whole day off.....hmmmmmm.....anyway...below a pic from the horse carriage.....and from one of the buildings....architecture amazing...i just wish they would look after their buildings more.....

Now im off....next run is different..no Israel...Back to athens....izmir...katakolon and overnite alexandria.....(interesting)..... At night.....hmmmmmm.....anyway....ill let u go now.....cheers
