Breath-taking views and some more cappuccino

Well...this is not going to be too long...cause shortly after I published my other blog on cappuccino around our new home...we in fact went to Pienza to one of the two places that I had mentioned and we also discovered another amazing coffee spot in Sinalunga....

First up.....Pienza....It was a stunning Sunday when we decided to take a drive to Pienza and park quite a bit from the centro storico, why, cause we wanted to walk the panoramic route to centro storico. It was a breath-taking day, the views were absoloutely amazing, i was in such awe. We could see Montechiello, Montalcino, San Quirico d'Orcia...just so wow....it really took my breath away...so i need to share some pics so you can get an idea...

Don't you just love the fresh green colours....take a moment and go back....just look...so crisp.
Once we entered the centro storico we walked from one side to the next, through the actual old town one way and some panoramic view the other way....have a look at this quirky Xmas tree we found (yes, it is Feb, they are a little slow in removing the decoration I guess)....made from wine bottles and the star made from wine corks.

After that....time to go back to the cappuccino spot near the church...but in fact i described it wrongly the last time, it is not on the piazza by the church, that is another one called Caffe Posta...this one is a little bit further and just labelled bar/ gelateria....and i must have had it wrong in my mind....although the cappuccino was not too bad, thick-ish foam, not too much though, coffee was strong, the cups were horrible....i felt like i was in a very cheap place....reminded me of residency during university. The cookie was good...i wish the chocolate would have been spread along the whole bottom not just stuck in the middle...but when we paid...we almost got a freight....€7.00.... Absoloutely shocking...cause cappuccino should be about €1.2.....so what the hell....we will NEVER ever go back...i have a feeling they thought we were tourists and thought they could rip us off...i am telling you i was flabbergasted, shocked and disgusted...i mean if the place at least was cosey and has atmosphere and some history, like Polizia in Montepulciano, but this was literally a hole in the wall....never ever again...yes, i do have a pic which i will share....
Pienza
I am so shocked...that i went to google the name...Albertini....so, do not go there.
Next up....the most amazing cappuccino i have had...just WOW....WOW...and WOW....and where is this place, it is called Art Cafe and it is located on Via Trieste 140. The coffee is strong, the foam is thick, there is A LOT of foam...and there is the sweet chocolate sprinkles that I can put over myself...it is abosoloutely fantastic...and yes, i have been back several times, and it has been constistenly amazing...would i go back...most mosy definitely...we have also tried the honey cornetto (which is a dark cornetto....amazingly delicious) as well as the biscotti...and both to die for...so please, this is a definite recommendation and my abscoloute favourite cappuccino...and yes...i will share a pic...
Art Cafe
So...i think it is enough coffee blogs for a while...next up will be some home-cooked meal ideas...hope you are excited for that...some different ideas....but for now...i am going to go and dream about my cappuccino....so goodnight.
