Mykonos

First 2 weeks...not much time to go out....afternoon shift....start around 12 (and as we all know in Greece and Turkey nothing really opens before 10....so, no need to rush out) and then work till like 1630, then the ship leaves...see...no time....but once...yes....once in 2 weeks we managed to get out....in the morning...8....in mykonos we decided to go to the beach and load up on some sun....

It was perfect...cause no need for sun tan lotion as it wasnt so hot...but the sea could have been a little bit warmer.....but...i am not complaining...we got to go to a beautiful beach and without having to sweat....and we did have a lot of fun....jumping in the water, tanning and of course chatting...nice to get out and enjoy....and here are some pics....

And yes....there are a few things which i love about afternoon shift....you are off between like 16:00 and 19:30 so...kim and i get to have a nice early dinner at Garden cafe....room service...or one of the speciality restaurants....cause we both are not keen on eating around 20:00 (morning shift end), so we tried...Papas room service.....Cagney room service and physically going there....Moderno.....Bistro....the new Cagney's menu serves Angus certified beef....great...for room service we tried the Bison (vension type meat), it was cold....so we said next time we need to be fair and order it at the restaurant...but the taste was not bad.....here a pic of our room service....

Moderno and Bistro...fab has always....Moderno...still my favourite are the sirloin, fillet and piccahnia and of course the grilled pineapple and the buffet....Bistro (i went with my friend Noemi)..i had the scallops, porc romaine and cheese platter...and a bottle of prosecco....and then we tried the new Cagney's menu at the restaurant and we had ribs, chicken legs and salad for starters...then fillet and ribeye with bone and dessert, maccademia biscotti sandwich and oreo cheescake...now my 50c.....chicken legs, ribs and salad perfecto (ribs little small), fillet and rib eye great (mash, beans and beetroot also), dessert very disappointing....we had to search for the oreo and the portion was way way too big...and maccademia sandwich biscotti.....couldnt eat properly....we couldt bite or cut the cookie part...shocking...but ice cream tasted good.....so...next time...we try different desserts...and i have to say...the peppercorn sauce with the meat was fab....enough about food.....

the other nice thing...which is great about afternoon shift....we can go out after shift and there is people...when you finish at 20:00 then you are tired by 23:00 and then you have to start so early....no thanx....so going out...much better...and yes...we ended up going to white hot...dress in white and go enioy....fun.....here is some pics....

So yes, there are good things about afternoon shift....and thats the thing to do...hang onto the good things...and not to forget...to be lazy in the morning...fab....so now i say cheers....
