Thailand part 2

So...as promised....part two....lets talk about some relaxation sessions kim and i had.....yes...loved them all...and again i cannot put my finger onto which one i liked best....the one day we went for massages...but at a proper salon...not those hole in the wall type salons....kim says that there, often the ladies are untrained, chat, and messenger...that, in my opinion, kills the entire relaxation process....so better and much nicer to go to a proper salon....kim booked 1.5hr aromatherapy massage in a double room....massage was fab...actually the entire session was fab.....from shower, to massage to tea etc etc......so professional....loved it.....sorry...no pics....

Kim also took me to play golf...used some of the many set of clubs he has...and my word...i dont think i have ever played so well...men Callaway clubs and the driver worked wonders....amazing round of golf...lets not talk about kim's round....here is an interesting fact....all caddys are LADIES.....and you have to take a caddy....loved playing golf....was hot and yes, its also humid....at least we had a cart...fun...and yes...i do have some pics....

The other thing i loved was going to have drinks at the Hilton....the Hilton is built on top of a shopping mall and the bar is on the highest floor overlooking Pattaya....what a view...and the seats...so cool....you got double couch seats and they faced the glass balcony and back of your seat was so high that no one could see...of course you get served nut snacks and we both had a cocktail....yes....i was craving bubbly...so ended up having a Bellini...what a cool view...and yes...i do have some pics....

That night after dinner, it was time to explore the walking street...so during the day you can drive through it (which we did) and from 7pm no cars are allowed....man it looks so different during the day and at night....so of course when there...have to go to a Go Go bar.....interesting....not like the normal strip clubs....the girls get to take off as much as they want and they just dance to the rythym of the music...anyway...no more details...and no pics.....after that we tried a live music bar, was a little empty...i guess we were a little early...but nice music....chilled and like mentioned...relaxing....funny after that...as we walked out..was time to get a snack...some skewers (pork and mince) and a piece of crispy, barbequed rice....(not my best)....then home in a "taxi" (forgot the proper name)...they drive around the city (specific route), the whole day and night and you just hop in...(no proper stops) and when you wanna get off, you ring the bell...so much fun and so cheap...took a pic during daylight...here is a pic of the skewers and the "taxi"

Now that i have started writing about street food....thers is so many stalls...fruit stalls....pancake stalls.....skewer stalls, schwarma stalls, juice stalls and seafood stalls....and yes...we tried so many of them....the seafood stalls we even went twice...once for the prawns and once for a big fish grilled with a salt crust...so damn good....eaten at home with some bubbly...bought at 7/11 excellento....the sauce that came with the seafood was a very hot chillie sauce...salty...so so good...i ate the entire sauce...even when no more seafood...oh well...some pics before talking about the pancake stall....

Food is making me hungry....and now lets talk about the pancake stall....so cool....and so sweet and rich...kim chose the banana egg pancake...so first they expand the dough...throwing it around like a pizza dough....then they put into onto a hot skillet...add the egg and banana and cook it with butter, folding it close...adding more butter...they fold it like a parcel...them take it off and cut it into squares...adding condense milk and sugar at the end...hell of a sweet...but excellento...and yes...just so you get jealous...some pics...

Love it...but def recommend sharing it...well i was happy sharing...one would have been too many...and you know what...some vanilla ice cream and perfecto...we decided to just eat it with bubbly...also excellento....so my time in Pattaya....fab...here one last pic before i end my blog...goodnite...chat soon....

Wedding time.....my baby sister's wedding

Oh my word....my sister, who wanted to be a nun (inspired by the movie Sister Act), is getting married....and to a guy that suites her perfectly.....we started getting reAdy around lunch time...make up artist, Victor Ortega, was flown in from Manila. He did my sister's, my mom's and my makeup....but now a few steps back...this wedding pre- celebration started on Wednesday night with a Swiss family dinner, Thursday night a pub crawl and Friday night a close family (Aboitiz and Bucher) at a Spanish tapas place (where the food was amazing...first time i tried nero paella)....but to the pub crawl we get later..... So, lets do this blog a little different....when you go to Hong Kong, this is my top 10 highlights, things i think you must do (not any particular order): 1. Junk boat cruise (1 hour) 2. Dim sums at Maxims Palace City Hall 3. Deep Fried Pork Bun at Tim Ho Wan 4. Shopping (not neccessarily to buy but just to see) 5. Flute bar in Soho (such a variety of cocktails) 6. Armani Prive bar (rooftop bar) 7. Tram to Victoria Peak 8. Lamma island and of course that includes the hike and seafood 9. Under the bridge crab (garlic crab) 10. Nightmarket with eating local food which includes 1000 year old egg So...now some of those i have done this time in Hong Kong and some i did last time.....so lets do this way..im going to split my experience in Hong Kong in 2 parts, otherwise this blog will be endless.....but im gonna go through all top 10 attractions.... Podere il Casale

Beautiful place near Monticchiello in the Southern Tuscany. My parents, together with Mutti and Sofia went there whilst Kim and I were in Corsica. They raved about it, stating that it was Swiss owned and they met the couple who owns and runs it. They are actively involved and so are their children. Their food is produced on the farm, they are famous for their Pecorino cheese. They also offer Pizza and bread courses, camping etc etc....in fact i was really looking forward to visiting this place. They have outdoor and indoor seating but i must say the outdoor seating cannot be compared to the indoor hall. The outside is quaint, picturesque and has breath-taking views. There is quite a long dirt road following up to Podere il Casale....its not so easily found. The sign at the entrance is also not too good.
