Activities in the Borcay
Of course the wedding and eating was not the only thing we did....we did relax in the boiling pool water or in the refreshing sea...and lounges on the sun-chairs (in the shade)....and one day excursion time...something called "island hopping with helmet dive".....but before i go into this...this blog will be mainly with pictures...so just enjoy....

Ah....looking at the pictures makes me wish i was back there...man we really did have an amazing time...and now to another activity..."island hopping with helmet dive". We got collected around 10 in the morning with a boat shown below:
Then we got taken to a floating raft where those of us who wanted could do a helmet dive....basically you float in the water, holding a ladder, then they put a 35kg helmet over your head (weighs about 3kg under water) and you slowly start descending the ladder until you reach the bottom...20 feet (with you, you have a qualified diver guiding you)....the helmet is attached to a plastic tube which feeds you oxygen, the helmet is open at the bottom...and you can breathe normally...amazement....you are in the water for 20min, you feed the fishes and walk around with your helmet...ensure helmet is always upright so that no water comes under....what an experience....the divers are with you all the way and take pictures...so here is a pic....group pic of everyone that did it....

After that "island hopping time"....why do i put it into "..." cause to me island hoping is hopping is going from one island to the next..but that is not how it was....we tugged along Boracay island (in the two boats).....
Until we reached the end....where we hopped out (this part of the island is called Puka beach) and swam and got served a grilled lunch (white and red snapper) with rice and fresh fruits (mango, pineapple and watermelon).....
Lunch being prepared
It was refreshing, something different, although it wasn't an island hop per say, we did all have a good time...here another pic....
