Yes, yes....i know i know...i am slacking...but in all honesty....since coming back from Finland....i do not know where the time went.....the day is spent with Sofia the busy bee and at night....well then it was time to have some chats and talks and then its already bed time...but i know....it is no excuse and hence i have decided im going to put some time aside again the next few days and catch up with some needed blogs...until i am up to date again...hahaha.....so let me start from the beginning...the night we (Sofia and I) came back from Finland we had an invitation at Villa Armena (Mutti received the invite and asked whether mom, dad, Sofia and I could join). Villa Armena is a beautiful boutique hotel in Buonconvento. We were invited to the introduction of the new chef.....in all honesty we did not quite know what that meant but we decided there must be some kind of food...so yes, we did not eat.....when we arrived there were beautiful candles outside the boutique hotel, it just l...

A visit up to Finland to see Kim's family...and yes...we did quite a few things...starting with the May 1st celebration....which is big in Finland....we were invited to go to the "forest" to celebrate...sounded quite intriguing...gumboots very organised....a "suite" for Sofia was organised...i think we were ready.....so once we arrived...the pic-nic basket with the aperitivo snacks and the prosecco were packed and off we went.....and wow...Sofia enjoyed the woods...first time for her...and when we put her on the ground, and she was able to feel all these new things, inlcuding moss, she was just laughing to herself....it was just soooooo cute....let me share some pics.... In the forest Sofia enjoying the forest The beautiful grounds The woods All of us enjoying aperitivo Sunset in the forest on the 1st May After the apritivo we enjoyed an Italian meal with caprese and lasagna. There are geothermal hot springs in many locations all over the crust of the earth. While some of these springs contain water that is the correct temperature for bathing, others are so hot that immersion can result in injury or death. There is no universally accepted definition of a hot spring. For example, one can find the phrase hot spring defined as an...

Mutti and I visited this little bar....let me share a pic first.... Cappuccino in Trequanda It was a strong coffee.....the foam was thick....but there could have been more foam...but not too bad all in all....i guess i would go back...why...because to support the locals and also it is very convenient right there on the square... Next up...coffee in Lucignano by the entrance to the old town called fuori la porta (ouside the gate)...hahaha....again...let me share a pic... Lucignano cappuccino The coffee was ok....a bit bitter for me....the foam was ok...definitely c...
