My venture

So Venice i cannot say much...why cause we all worked 11hrs....man that was real murder.....but i guess when you are unexpectedly short staffed that is what happens....so today would be my almost last day shift...full day shift, then tomorrow, Dubrovnik , would be morning shift from 8 until 12:30 and then i would start my nightshift at 23:00.... Im off course a little nervous cause nightshift you are all by yourself...u get given an entire check list what stuff needs to be done, and it must be done off course. I must admit my friend from finance and me were very lucky cause we are nightshift together for one week....at least we will have fun, we can gossip and order room service together....so im actually only dreading it half.....so just to finish...Venice killed....but as u might guess...i survived or i would not be writing this. I managed to have one last breakfast with my mom which was nice...final gossip session and then at 10 i said good bye.....but she was good to go...she said ...

So....Mykonos.....i was off until 1pm...so i decided i wanted to show my mom Mykonos.....as you know....i love it...and i was so happy i had time to go show her the island i love.....we left around 830, i say around...again...mom was outside punctual at 830 and i was 5min late....and NO....its not becoming a habit...mom just looked at me and asked the same...s this becoming a habit....haha.....anyways...we took the shuttle bus to get there.....what a nice day....a little windy but nice......we took loads of pics and just relaxed and wondered the streets.....we had cappucino at my local spot, then i needed stockings....so after having gone to a supermarket and pharmacy, and NOT finding anything, i decided to try and lingerie shop...they however dont have the whole stocking....so suspenders it would be.....the goodthing is...if one breaks, gets a hole, i dont have to throw away the whole pair clever. As we were leaving the shop, i spotted a bikini from the corner of my eye...and where be...

So, today, Santorini, i was only off at 3 so i told my mom to go with the Swiss people and enjoy Oia and the wine farm, she was excited to go cause she also thought that the Swiss tour guide was actually a nice guy...so she went off at 2pm....like i said i was off at 3, so i signed up for the crew tour...that started at 3pm, so i asked the supervisor to leave 15min early...that was possible, yay....the crew tour was going to the volcano and then the hot springs....hmmm....i had no idea what to expect but i was excited.....so at 3 off we went.....we were in this wooden boat...was so cool...almost felt like a pirate boat.....i spent my time with Banu and the captain...wot a fun crew tour....so we arrived at the volcano island where we had a 30min walk upwards ahead of us...our tour guide was some Greek. I think he spent too much time in the sun cause he was cooked, his stories were from a different world, i dont think i was listening after 5min and the whole way up he was singing...quite...

So first sea day not much happened....i must tell you about breakfast though....so my mom got VIP a second week...she was so happy cause she loves the breakfast in the VIP area....so seeing that i am afternoon shift...and almost every night im ending at 1am...i managed to at least go for breakfast wth my mom 5 out of 7 days...and yes i know this cause im still behind in the blog (im nite shift at the moment, so i will do mybest to catch up...im just slow cause of the internet...problems....).... Anyways...back to the topic....so VIP breakfastis in the steakhouse and there is an a la carte hot menu and a cold buffet....man....im in heaven....smoked salmon, proscuitto and NEVER to forget BRIE cheese and lots of butter...so yes I loved my breakfast...especially the BRIE with butter......  Now lets talk about CORFU.....i started work at 12, so i said to my mom, lets go out at 8 sharp and we can roam around and have breakfast outside....wot a good idea....man...who would have thought th...

So we arrived in Split at 10am....and it was already very hot....i was off at 12 and so was Dina so i told my parents zo go out before us and when we are on the tender boat then ill sms and we can meet up....now normally tender, open tender, should start about 2hrs afterwards, so Dina and i thought we were safe....how wrong we were......security calmly said we wre not allowed to go out until open tender, another 30min....was he mad...so my manager had gangway duty....ok before i continue let me explain gangway duty....when we arrive at a port, some of the officers have to stand on the gangway and tell the guests to have a nice day.....anyway so my manager had gangway duty sobwe went up to her and asked whether she could organise that we go out on an earlier tender cause my parents are waiting for Dina and me.....yay....so nice of her....so off we went...once we arrived...we met up with my parents and i took them all, cause Dina also had not seen it, to the statue that if you rub his to...

So...Piraeus...first time that i decided i didnt have time to get into Athens...and well i have seen it....heard there was a beach near Piraeus and not full of crew people so thought that sounded like a much better plan.....my parents i sent to Acropolis, i just think if you have never seen it you need to go check it out....so they went off in the morning, and i told them to use the Hop On Hop Off bus....skipping forward just a little....they ally enjoyed seeing it but said that it was way too hot, also had Greek salad, on my recommendation, and they loved it...so i think i made some good suggestions.....anyway...now more about me...this is my blog, so i guess im more interesting, haha..... We, a friend and i, decided to go to the beach, i had no clue to go, just heard that it was about a 30min walk, but if we speed walk, 20min, and u know me, why waste time walking when walking fast means more time at the beach....so at least he had a phone with a GPS so we found the beach easily, not...

So, finally the time has come....my parents arrival. I was really looking forward to it....just showing them the ship and what i do and of course the specialty restaurants......so, i had to work very early in the morning, start at 6:30 and i was off at 11 for 3 hrs....perfect, i could go and fetch my parents and then have a lunch with them at the Garden Cafe.....when i saw them in the arrival hall i was so happy and excited.....they got VIP which was a total surprise to them and they felt so honoured, i was so happy for them...so of course special treatment for them....they def deserve it.....after check in, i showed them the ship, a little, and then we had lunch at the Garden Cafe (they wanted to see more but by now i was dying of hunger, so sorry)..Garden cafe was very busy but was so nice to catch up...work that afternoon passed quickly and in the evening i had made dinner reservation for the three of us at Papa's.....for starters i had the carprese, yes, i know, boooring.....my...
